Andean Cock of the Rock, Paz de Aves and Mindo, Ecuador
Seeing the Cock of the Rock display at a Lek was one of the most amazing things Gowri and I had ever seen when we visited the Mindo area back in 2006. It was great to take 9 year old Aditya in 2018 and he got an amazing picture!
I got great looks of the Cock of the Rock in Peru as well but in Ecuador they are blood red whereas they were more orangish in Peru.
