In my opinion the 2nd prettiest heron behind the Agami which we weren't able to see. Capped also proved a big challenge. We managed to see this from a row boat early in the morning right at the end of our safari at Southwild the best location for Agami. The flash was just strong enough to get this nice shot. These dark areas are also where one may find the Agami but Sergio said the water level was too high in July. August would have given us a better chance.
On our last safari we got another look at this beauty!
