Prehistoric looking Hoatzins are quite common in Amazonia near lakes. They are quite tame and cane be seen in large flocks. These birds have special stomachs and can digest plants that other birds cannot. Their stomachs are somewhat cow-like. Here is a high resolution shot of the Hoatzins:   (Click).
