This endangered, small dark stork with a white neck patch and a bright red bill was seen a few times on our river safaris. Also note bright yellow skin around the eyes. An uncommon and declining resident of waterside and swampy forest. Typically encountered singly or in small groups. Forages in wet forest clearings and on muddy riverbanks.
