Red-naped Trogon, Rainforest Discovery Center, Borneo

This incandescently beautiful trogon is sluggish and surprisingly hard to detect despite its bright colors. This is a species of moist lowland and foothill forest. The male has a black head, bright red nape and underparts, brownish-orange back, and black-and-white-barred wings.
