In March 2019 Southern California experienced a superbloom. We happened to be there for Aditya's spring break. Lake Elsinore received crowds of 60,000 people per day to see this amazing phenomena on the weekends. We went at 4 am on a Monday morning and beat the crowds and got this view in the morning light. We actually ran into a person who grew up in Los Alamos who showed us the best spot where purple and yellow flowers were mixed in with the orange poppies. It was one of the most amazing sights we've seen!
