We booked a trip to Churchill with Frontier North to see Polar Bears in the wild from a Tundra Buggy. We also stayed at the Tundra Buggy Lodge which is located on Hudson Bay. The Polar Bears congregate here in October and November while the wait for the ice to freeze. Once the ice freezes, they go out onto the ice to hunt ring seals which is their primary food source. During the summer months Polar Bears eat very little and mostly conserve energy. Here is a slideshow of all the amazing looks we got of the largest land predator: (Slideshow).
