I had always hoped that a red fox would come to one of our camera traps in Los Alamos. However, although red foxes occur in New Mexico, my yard and my parent's yard seem to only have Gray Fox visitors. On a trip to Northern Minnesota to photograph Great Gray and Snowy Owls, I got to see this beautiful red fox as a bonus! Click here for a high resolution shot of the picture above (Hi-Res) .On our way back we either saw the same red fox again or another one amongst the glittering snow (Lo-Res) (Hi-Res).
