One of the first objects we photographed. This planetary nebula was actually taken by the original 1000 mm F5 Newtonian reflector Orion sent us. It turned out this wasn't an ideal telescope for astrophotography so I ended up having to return the mount and telescope to get the 800 mm F4 Astrograph which is designed for astrophotography.
Here is a narrowband HOO shot with our new ZWO 1600 ASI Pro Mono cooled processed with Pixinsight. More detail can be seen emanating from the nebla and more red hydrogen in the core.
