Lagoon (Messier 8) and Trifid (Messier 20) Nebulas
Two beautiful summer targets that can be seen in the Southern Sky. A widefiled 200 mm photo captures both Nebula.
Lagoon is perfect to capture with our 8 inch telescope and is the second brightest nebula after Orion. Hydrogen Alpha and our modified Canon 7D DSLR brings out the color and the detail.
Even though Trifid contains purples and blues, hydrogen Alpha allows the structure of Trifid to be seen nicely.
